  • Constant (The Confidence Game #1) by Rachel Higginson — released November 16th, 2017.  I actually beta read this book (feel free to be jealous), and it was everything I was hoping for (see my review here).  But since it’s Rachel, of course I’d already preordered it.

New Releases:

36582564

  • Foul Play (Barlow Sisters #3) by Jordan Ford — released November 17th, 2017.  I beta read this book too, but as has been happening more often than not, I have yet to review it.  I kind of want to read the whole trilogy again from start to finish and then review the final copies!  But trust me, it’s the PERFECT ending.  And OMG, this pink cover is SO Chloe.

Newsletter Freebies:

  • Just Jilted by Cindi Madsen — OK, so I totally thought I was already signed up for Ms. Madsen’s newsletter, but when she mentioned she had some bonus stuff coming out for a different book of hers, I went to double check…and lo and behold, I wasn’t!  So I signed up, and as I’m looking through the preview mailer (or whatever that was), I noticed that she was giving this book to newsletter subscribers, so I fumbled all over myself to one-click it that!  I haven’t read this book yet, but it was formerly titled Ready to Wed, and I actually already have a paperback copy of it in its former incarnation!  And since I’ll be meeting Ms. Madsen for a second time at Apollycon 2018 in Washington, D.C. in March, and I seriously dislike reading physical books nowadays, this couldn’t have been more fortuitous!

  • Runaway Groom (I Do, I Don’t #2) by Lauren Layne from Loveswept (Random House Publishing Group – Loveswept) — releases January 30th, 2018.  I still have to read book 1, but I’m very excited to dive into this series!!  Her ARCs are very hard to get approved for, so yay me!

ARCs from Authors/PR Companies:

35412486

  • Enchant (The Enchanted Series #1) by Micalea Smeltzer — releases November 17th, 2017.  I actually won this ARC in a contest in Melissa Pearl/Jordan Ford’s fan group on Facebook!  That cover is STUNNING and I’m super intrigued!  I don’t read nearly enough non-contemporary books.

Preorders That Went Live:

36083073

  • Anything But Extraordinary (Extraordinary #1) by Mary Frame — released November 9th, 2017.  Curly Carla LOVES this author, so when I saw this new release had a preorder sale price of only 99 cents, it was a no-brainer.  It’s still 99 cents in fact.  I just read and discovered it’s a 3 part series though, so perhaps I should preorder the other ones now too…

Purchased:

3568322636224817

  • Love in the Friend Zone (Grad Night #1) by Molly E. Lee — I finally got around to reading my ARC of this one, and enjoyed it so much I figured I’d snag the final copy!!  Read my review here.
  • Just One of the Boys by Leah and Kate Rooper — I am RARELY too impatient to wait for a sale, but I just keep seeing this one and I keep wanting it, and finally I just said fuck it…it must be mine.  Let’s hope it lives up to my internal hype!

Got It On Sale:

  • Epic Fail by Claire LaZebnik — I recently bought a paperback version of this book through Book Outlet, but since I prefer reading ebooks, I’ve been watching that price.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $5.24, I one-clicked!  Still on sale!
  • Crushing on Kate (Red Maple Falls #2) by Theresa Paolo — As I’ve mentioned in previous Stacking the Shelves, I’ve been collecting this new series by Ms. Paolo, but I missed this one.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99, and then also got Ms. Paolo’s newsletter that announced a huge sale on a few of the books in this series, I said SCORE!!  The sale is still on, you should check it out!  The first 4 books are on sale (book 1 free, book 2 99 cents, book 3 $1.99, book 4 $2.99, all from their usual $3.99).
  • I Temporarily Do (Cordially Invited #1) by Ellie Cahill — I’ve read and enjoyed books by Ms. Cahill in the past, so when I saw this one on both my BookBub and My Book Cave Team emails, on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99, I figured why not!  I love marriage of convenience tropes!
  • Christmas Nights (Diamond Creek, Alaska #6) by J.H. Croix — Spotted this on my BookBub email for free (I think it’s usually $3.99), and it sounded cute!  And I’m still hoarding Christmas books for the HoHoHo Read-a-thon I’m currently participating in, and for my 12 Books of Christmas Challenge coming up later in the month.
  • Santa’s Secret (Christmas Wishes #1) by Serenity Woods — Another Christmas freebie spotted on BookBub (usually $3.99 I think).  MOAR HOARDING.

  • Fatal Pursuit (Aegis #3) by Elisabeth Naughton. This was free to me from my kindle for Samsung app. Great app, everyone should get it, one free book a month. Who could pass that up?
  • Beauty and the Mustache: A Philosophical Romance (Winston Brothers #0.5, Knitting in the City #4) by Penny Reid. Now, this one I got on sale for free but the title is a bit misleading. You see, there are two series that kinda sorta intertwine with each other by Miss Reid. While this reads Winston Brothers book 1 in the title, the blurb reads that it is the 4th book in the Knitting in the city series. Which actually makes sense if you are reading both series as I have. At any rate, it can be read as a stand alone if you so choose.
  • Monarch (The War of Princes #3) by A.R. Ivanovich. I snagged up this one and the last one they were on sale for 99 pennies each, in fact at the time I write this, they are still on sale. So if I was you I would go and grab these while you can. The whole series is on sale for 99 cents each!
  • Lastland (The War of Princes #4) by A.R. Ivanovich. Again, got it on sale and it’s still at the sale price!
  • 33 Amazing Recipes for Homemade Brownies by Pamela Kazmierczak. I saw this on my eReaderIQ daily email and figured with baking season approaching I could try some new recipes.
  • Crushing on Cooper (Camp Firefly Falls #3) by Violet Vaughn. The blurb pulled me in.
  • The Black Chapel (Chapel #1) by Marilyn Cruise. I have some guilty pleasure books, fake marriage to billionaires are one of them. Pretty sure this book is still free if you also have a guilty pleasure like me.
  • All of Me (The Bridemaids Club #1) by Leeanna Morgan. The cover is adorable and I could use a feel good love story right about now. Also, I’m pretty sure this is still free.

  • Love on the Tracks (Snow & Ice Games #1) by Tamsen Parker from Swerve (St. Martin’s Press) — releases December 5th, 2017.  An Olympic athlete (and a luger to boot) and a celebrity?  Sign me up!

  • Jacob’s Ladder: Gabe (Jacob’s Ladder #1) by Katie Ashley from L. Woods PR — releases November 7th, 2017.  I was invited to review this book, and it sounded pretty good, so I figured why not!  I actually just finished reading this one, and it wasn’t my kind of writing…review will be coming soon.  Ah well!
  • After Lucas (Stonegate Series #2) by Tudor Robins — released October 31st, 2017.  I still have to read the first book in this series!!  I’m so behind you guys.  But I’ve truly enjoyed the books I’ve read by this author, so I’m excited to have another!

Preorders That Went Live:

36487710

  • Butterfly: A Public Enemy Standalone by Cambria Hebert — released November 3rd, 2017.  I love this author, so it was a no brainer to preorder her newest book…  This one sounds great too, I kind of want to sneak it in right now!

Got It On Sale:

  • Trust by Kylie Scott — I read a NetGalley ARC of Trust this summer, and I LOVED IT (read my review here).  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $4.99, I jumped all over it!  And good thing too, b/c it was only a one day sale.
  • Stage Kissed by Cassie Mae and Kelley Lynn — This book was rereleased on November 1st, with a brand new cover!!  I had the old copy, but I bought this new one too because it’s currently on sale for only 99 cents!  I can’t recommend it enough, read my review here and Curly Carla’s review here.

Lenore: You guys, I haven’t done one of these since the end of September, b/c between Thanksgiving and a trip to NYC I’ve been swamped.  So this is likely going to be LONG.  Four weeks worth long.  And I’m not even going to include the paperbacks I got from the Big Apple Author Event.

  • Hooking Up by Helena Hunting from Swerve (St. Martin’s Press) — releases November 7th, 2017. Lenore let me know when this was up for grabs on netgalley, and I got it! I’m a huge fan of HH so of course I had to read this! And it didn’t disappoint, my review will be up soon.
  • Something in the Way (Something in the Way #1) by Jessica Hawkins from the author — released February 27th, 2017. I’m also a big fan of JH. And Lenore reminded me when this was available on netgalley. I really don’t deserve her. But I’m not giving her up so don’t let her know I said that. 😉

New Releases:

3052406636480990

  • Finding Me (Xtreme Bachelor #2) by Caylie Marcoe — released October 18th, 2017.  I had the immense pleasure of alpha and beta reading this book. It’s pretty fantastic. And I Flove the cover!  Read my review here.
  • Shattered Stars (Broken Skies #3) by Theresa Kay — released October 26th, 2017. I was lucky enough to alpha and beta read this one too! I have been waiting pretty patiently for this one to come out for a while. It was worth the wait!

Books I Purchased:

35893080

  • Beard in Mind (The Winston Brothers #4) by Penny Reid — I think I may have read all PR’s books, I’d have to double check though. Anyway, I didn’t know this was even out yet, so I had to remedy the fact that I didn’t own it.

Got It On Sale:

  • Fatal Trust by Diana Miller — It looked good when I read the blurb, I was looking for something Halloweenie, plus it was free at the time so I figured, what have I got to lose?
  • The Bohemian and the Businessman (The Story Sisters #1) — I think this went on sale a while back and I have read some of her other books and enjoyed them so yeah, a no brainer really.
  • A Christmas Homecoming (Bar V5 Dude Ranch #5) by Melissa McClone. I was looking for some books for a Xmas reading challenge that is being hosted by Just Another Girl And Her Books (in association with Caroline Andrus ~ Blogger/Author) called The 12 books of Christmas challenge. Which you can sign up for here.  #12booksofchristmas . Hot damn that’s a lot of links!

  • Nailed It by Cindi Madsen from Entangled: Amara (Entangled Publishing LLC) — released October 23rd, 2017.  I’ve already read this book, and unfortunately it was only OK for me (see my review here).
  • ‘Tis the Season Bundle by Aimee Carson, Amy Andrews, Heidi Rice, and Kate Hardy from Entangled: Indulgence (Entangled Publishing LLC) — released December 9th, 2013.  This is an older release, but I’m always looking for more Christmas reads (especially for my 12 Books of Christmas Challenge).
  • Hooking Up by Helena Hunting from Swerve (St. Martin’s Press) — releases November 7th, 2017.  I’m not sure if these books are related at all, other than in style, but Curly Carla loved Ms. Hunting’s Shacking Up (see her review here), so when I saw this for request (and knowing this author will be at both Apollycon 2018 and Book Bonanza), I went for it.
  • Fake Wife by Stacey Lynn from Loveswept (Random House Publishing Group – Loveswept) — releases January 9th, 2018.  What can I say?  I love fake relationship romances.
  • Van (Cold Fury Hockey #9) by Sawyer Bennett from Loveswept (Random House Publishing Group – Loveswept) — releases November 28th, 2017.  I’ve read the sixth book in this series (read my review for Max) and really enjoyed it, so I wanted to check out another book in this world.  Also, this author will be attending Book Bonanza…though since these books are digital only, that will probably just frustrate me if I love it.
  • Bad Princess by Julianna Keyes from the author — releases November 27th, 2017.  This just sounds awesome…I love royalty stories.
  • Merrily in Love (The Littleton Brothers #3) by Melissa West from Lyrical Shine (Kensington Books) — releases November 7th, 2017.  Another book for my 12 Books of Christmas Challenge.
  • The First Kiss Hypothesis by Christina Mandelski from Entangled: Crush (Entangled Publishing LLC) — releases November 7th, 2017.  Love this line by Entangled.  And always love friends to lovers stories.
  • Offsetting Penalties by Ally Mathews from Entangled: Crush (Entangled Publishing LLC) — releases November 7th, 2017.  A football player taking ballet??  YES PLEASE!

  • Dance With Me (Dance Off #2) by Alexis Daria from Swerve (St. Martin’s Press) — releases December 12th, 2017.  I recently read the first book in this series (read my review for Take the Lead) and enjoyed it.  So when I was offered a widget for this book, I said yes please!

ARCs from Authors/PR Companies:

  • Bountiful (True North #4) by Sarina Bowen — released October 20th, 2017.  I LOVED this book (read my review here), and LOVED Dave Beringer.  I even tried to find him when I was in Brooklyn, but alas, no luck.  This could have also gone under the next heading, b/c I did preorder it as well.
  • The Perfect Couple (Passion, Vows & Babies Kindle Worlds Novella) by Ginger Scott — released October 18th, 2017.  This was a surprise release, so I haven’t had a chance to read it yet!  But I’m really looking forward to it.

Preorders That Went Live:

  • The Princess and the Pizza Man (Destined for Love: Mansions) by Cassie Mae — released October 3rd, 2017.  This one was so cute!  Read my review here.
  • Hung Up on Hadley (Red Maple Falls #5) by Theresa Paolo — released October 10th, 2017.  I’ve been collecting this series, especially because this author often has preorder/release day sales!  I just need to find the time to get started!

New Releases:

35700589364177993052406636480990

  • Unloved by Katy Regnery — released October 8th, 2017.  I ADORED this book you guys.  Like LOVED it.  You can read my review here.  So of course I had to get the final copy.
  • Strike Out (Barlow Sisters #2) by Jordan Ford — released October 20th, 2017.  I beta read this baby!!  LOVE Max and Cairo!  Of course I haven’t written my review yet.  Whoops.  I’m getting really bad at this in my later beta reading years.
  • Finding Me (Xtreme Bachelor #2) by Caylie Marcoe — released October 18th, 2017.  See?  Another amazing book I beta read but have yet to write a review for.  You guys, it’s an epidemic.  But this book is SO F-ING GOOD, go buy it now!!
  • Shattered Stars (Broken Skies #3) by Theresa Kay — released October 26th, 2017.  If you guessed I beta read this one too, you would be correct!!  And yet again, no review to show for it!  *sigh*  But trust me when I say this trilogy conclusion was all that and a bag of chips, and is hands down my favourite dystopian/sci-fi series of all time.

Had To Get The Next In The Series:

27225024

  • Cuff Me (New York’s Finest #3) by Lauren Layne — While I had the paperback of this book already, I rarely read paperbacks anymore.  And since I wanted to read this before the Big Apple Author Event I just attended a few weeks ago, I sucked it up and bought the Kindle version.  Luckily it was a hit for me, read my review here.

Got It On Sale:

  • Damaged Like Us (Like Us #1) by Krista & Becca Ritchie — I’ve read a few books in the series this is a spin off of, so when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $1.60 from its usual $3.99 I snagged it!  Still on sale!
  • Dating-ish (Knitting in the City #6) by Penny Reid — I’m always on the look out for Penny Reid sales, so when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $5.99, I grabbed it quick!  And good thing, b/c that was a quickie sale (ie it’s over).  I’ve met her twice already, but I’m going to try to read this before my next opportunity to meet her at Apollycon 2018.
  • The Kidnapped Christmas Bride (Taming of the Sheehans #3, A Marietta Christmas #5) by Jane Porter — Saw this one on BookBub for free from its usual $3.99, and figured I’d add to my Christmas book collection.  Still on sale!
  • Say Yes (Bound to be Naughty) by J.R. Gray — I was cleaning up my wishlist, and I’d had this one on there from when I read Curly Carla’s review here.  But then it disappeared from Amazon for awhile.  It’s back now!  Technically I don’t know if this one is on sale for 99 cents, or if that’s it’s always price, but I stick it in this section anyways.
  • The Proposing Kind (Brew Ha Ha #4) by Bria Quinlan — I’ve only read one book in this series, but I love Ms. Quinlan’s books, so when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $2.20 from its usual $3.99, I snatched it up!  Still on sale!
  • Falling for Colton (Falling #5) by Jasinda Wilder — I loved the first book in this series, and I believe this is a prequel of sorts.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for free from its usual $4.99 I snagged it!  Still free!
  • Sacked (Gridiron #1) by Jen Frederick — This author will be attending Apollycon 2018, and I’ve read some great reviews for this book by bloggers I follow, so I put it on my wishlist.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99 I one-clicked!  Alas, sale is over.
  • Bedmates (American Royalty #1) by Nichole Chase — I really enjoy this author, and have wanted to read this book for FOREVER!  But since it was traditionally published, and whomever has the Canadian rights decided the Kindle version should be $10 (instead of the $4.99 for the US), I wishlisted and held off.  And it’s been so frustrating, b/c every time it went on sale, it wouldn’t be for me in Canada.  So when I got another eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $1.99 from its usual “$4.99”, I scoffed…but this ONE TIME it was for me too!!  And I’m so excited, b/c this author is attending both Apollycon 2018 and Book Bonanza, so I can’t wait to read this in the next few months!  No longer on sale (for me, or for US).
  • Bound by the Past (Clandestine #1, Lowell High School #1) by Mari Carr — I read this book awhile ago and really enjoyed it, but I can’t remember how I got it originally.  It was republished recently and I wishlisted it (I don’t remember why), so when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for free from its usual $4.99 I snagged it.  No longer on sale.
  • The Touch (The Cotiere Chronicles #2) by Michelle Bolanger — I have the paperback of this book but, as I’ve said, I just don’t read them…so I wishlisted the kindle version.  But I kept missing the sales!  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99 I snagged it!  Still on sale!  And if you need to be convinced, read Curly Carla’s review here.
  • Cross Check (Bayard Hockey #2) by Kelly Jamieson — I read and really enjoyed a NetGalley ARC of this book (read my review here).  So when I saw this one on BookBub for $1.99 from its usual $4.99, I added it to my collection!  No longer on sale.
  • Justice Buried (Starbright #1) by Hilary Thompson — Curly Carla shared this sale on the Facebook page, when it was free!  But honestly, it’s only 99 cents…so still a great deal.
  • Reach You (Second Chances #5) by Mari Carr — I tend to enjoy Ms. Carr’s books, so when I saw this one on BookBub for free from its usual $3.99, I figured why not?!  Still free!
  • Roar (Stormheart #1) by Cora Carmack — I have no idea how I knew this one was on sale.  I think I was cleaning up my eReaderIQ lists, and while this one hadn’t hit my $2 threshold and so I didn’t get a notice, knowing that it’s usually like $10 for me, when I saw it was $2.99 I snagged it.  No longer on sale.  Hoping to read this one in the next few months, because this is another author who will be attending both Apollycon 2018 and Book Bonanza.
  • Beard in Mind (Winston Brothers #4) by Penny Reid — Another new Penny Reid book wishlisted, another eReaderIQ alert about a rare/quick sale (for $1.99 from its usual $5.99)!  Glad I caught it!
  • The Christmas Secret (Marvells of Montana #2, Secrets of Cherry Lake #7) by Jeannie Watt — Saw this one on BookBub for free from its usual $2.99, and figured I’d add to my Christmas book collection.  Still free!
  • The Christmas Wedding Quilt: Let It Snow\You Better Watch Out\Nine Ladies Dancing by Emilie Richards, Janice Kay Johnson, & Sarah Mayberry — I’ve had this one wishlisted for FOREVER, because I love collecting books by Ms. Mayberry.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $5+, I snagged it!  Still on sale!
  • Well Hung (Big Rock #3) by Lauren Blakely — I’ve been collecting/wishlisting this author’s books recently, partly because she’ll be at Book Bonanza, and partly because she’s popular among bloggers I follow.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $4.99, I one-clicked!  Still on sale!

  • The Corner of Forever and Always (Everland, Georgia #2) by Lia Riley from Forever (Grand Central Publishing) — released September 26th, 2017.  This is all Lillian @Mom With a Reading Problem‘s fault.  I read her review, and she sold me.  Then I saw that this author will be attending Apollycon 2018 in Washington, D.C. next March, and I figured it was worth a shot trying to request.  SCORE!
  • Man Candy (Real Love #3) by Jessica Lemmon from Loveswept (Random House Publishing Group – Loveswept) — releases January 9th, 2018.  I’ve read the first book in this series (read the review for Eye Candy) and I have an ARC of the 2nd book that I’m overdue on, so now I can finish off the trilogy.

  • Filthy Beautiful Lies (Filthy Beautiful Lies #1) by Kendall Ryan — I seem to be a newsletter subscriber of Staci Hart (I’m assuming because of some giveaway, I don’t question), and this was a book that was being offered for free for her newsletter subscribers (which will likely sign me up for Ms. Ryan’s newsletter now).  I noticed that this author will be attending both Apollycon 2018 and Book Bonanza, so I figured why not give her a shot with a free book?  Although in preparing this post, I just noticed that this book is also free on Amazon, so I could have just got it there.  In fact, maybe I will do that…then when I review it, it will actually be a verified purchase.  Excuse me while I talk to myself.  😛

Gifted/Won It:

30558358IMG_20170926_125629IMG_20170926_125641.jpg

  • Butterfly Tattoo: Ultimate Edition by Deidre Knight — Birthday Present from my partner in crime, Curly Carla!!  For the life of me, I can’t remember how I came across this one, but I know it was recommended!
  • Rather Be (Songbird #10) by Melissa Pearl — I won this book during Ms. Pearl’s Songbird Read-a-thon this summer!!  Which is fantastic, b/c I had the privilege of beta reading this one, so I’m so happy I can now put it on my shelf and pet it!

Signed Paperbacks:

IMG_20170926_130038

  • A Girl Like Me (Like Us #2) by Ginger Scott — I was able to meet Ms. Scott at Romancing the Falls in May this year, and I collected a large stack of her books signed (and no, they’re not on any Stacking the Shelves, b/c I kept putting it off, and now it seems silly).  Unfortunately this second book in the duo wasn’t out yet, so when Ms. Scott put up signed copies for sale on her website, you can bet I took advantage.  I can’t have the first and not the second!

Book Outlet:

  • First & Then by Emma Mills — I think Deanna @A Novel Glimpse keeps pimping this author, so I snagged it.
  • The Girl of Fire and Thorns (Fire and Thorns #1), The Bitter Kingdom (Fire and Thorns #3) and Walk on Earth a Stranger (The Gold Seer Trilogy #1) by Rae Carson — I’ve read The Girl of Fire and Thorns and really enjoyed it, but have yet to finish the series.  So I grabbed these two on the cheap, and thought I’d snag the first in another of Ms. Carson’s series for cheap too.
  • Forget Me Always (Lovely Vicious #2) by Sara Wolf — I LOVE this series, and already snagged the first book from Book Outlet, so I was stoked to find this one there as well.
  • Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen — I’ve read 2 YA’s by Ms. Dessen and loved them both, so figured why not grab another on the cheap?
  • The Fill-In Boyfriend and On the Fence by Kasie West — I haven’t read any of Ms. West’s books, but they come highly recommended.
  • Epic Fail by Claire LaZebnik — I read my first book by Ms. LaZebnik this year and really enjoyed it, so figured I’d grab another.
  • Appealed (The Legal Briefs #3) by Emma Chase — I’ve only read the second book in this series, but I LOVED it.  So I snagged this one too, to either get signed at the Big Apple Author Event in October, or Apollycon in March.
  • Harry Potter Box Set: The Complete Collection (Harry Potter #1-7) by J.K. Rowling — This is all the fault of an Instagram Challenge I was participating in.  The theme one day was your HP collections, and I realized I only have one set…and I’ve always wanted this rainbow set.  And then I saw it on Book Outlet, and it was all over from there.

Got the Paperback:

(I got all of these in anticipation of the Big Apple Author Event October 2017, Apollycon March 2018, or Book Bonanza July 2018)

IMG_20170926_130131

  • Him (Him #1), Us (Him #2), Good Boy (WAGs #1), and Stay (WAGs #2) by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy — I love all of these books, and while yes, I could have preordered them from Ms. Bowen for BAAE, they would have come with signed book plates from Ms. Kennedy.  But since I’m hoping to meet Ms. Kennedy at Apollycon, I kind of wanted to get her autograph then.
  • Them (Him & Her #3) by Carey Heywood — Something went wrong in my pre-order for BAAE, and this book got missed…so guess I’m bringing it with me!
  • Royally Matched (Royally #2) and Royally Endowed (Royally #3) by Emma Chase — I still haven’t read this series, but I took a leap of faith.  Now to decide whether I drag these to BAAE, or wait to read them first and bring them to Apollycon.
  • It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover — When the paperback is temporarily cheaper than the Kindle version, I go for it…and maybe if I love it, I’ll bring it to Book Bonanza with me.

Got It On Sale:

  • Cinderella Screwed Me Over by Cindi Madsen — I love this author, and so when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $5.99, I one-clicked!  Still on sale!  And bonus, I get to meet her again at Apollycon!
  • Paper Fools (Hearts and Arrows #1) by Staci Hart — This author will be attending the Big Apple Author Event in October, and so when I saw her mention in the BAAE Facebook Group that this book was on sale for free (and the next two books were 99 cents to celebrate her upcoming release of the 3rd book), I figured I’d take a chance.  I just finished it and unfortunately it wasn’t quite my cup of tea (see my review here).  Still free (usually $2.99 I think).

  • Curveball (Barlow Sisters #1) by Jordan Ford — released September 22nd, 2017.  I’ve beta read this beauty!!  I actually just finished beta reading the final book in the trilogy, and the series is fantastic!  If you like a bit of suspense/mystery/action with your YA books, this series is great for that!  I’ll get a review written at some point, I’m just so behind on everything…

  • Cocky Bastard by Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland — So both of these authors are going to be attending the Big Apple Author Event in October, and I’d heard great things about their co-written books, so I decided to try a sample of this book.  And I was sucked right in, so I bought the book.  LOVED it, read my review here.
  • Bossman by Vi Keeland — Samesies for this one, got the sample, sucked in, bought it, finished it, loved it, read my review here.

  • Adapted for Film (Reel Romance #1) by Stacey Rourke — Curly Carla LOVED this book (read her review here), so I put it on my wishlist.  And earlier in September I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for free from its usual $2.99, so I snatched it up!  No longer on sale.
  • The Trouble with Mistletoe (Heartbreaker Bay #2) by Jill Shalvis — It’s time for Christmas books!!  Especially since I joined The 12 Books of Christmas Challenge.  A lot of reviewers I follow enjoyed this little novella from last Christmas, so when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $4.99, I one-clicked!  No longer on sale.
  • The Negotiator (Harbor City #1) by Avery Flynn — I feel like I saw this one on The Rock Stars of Romance newsletter at one point and was intrigued, so it went on a wishlist (especially since this author is going to be attending Apollycon 2018 in Washington, D.C. next March).  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99, I one-clicked!  No longer on sale.
  • His Christmas Miracle (Love in Montana #5) by Dani Collins — MOAR CHRISTMAS BOOKS!  Saw this one on BookBub for free from its usual $3.99, still on sale!
  • The next few books are part of a sale that Swerve (St. Martin’s Press) is holding on a lot of their novels (most on sale for 99 cents).  I initially got eReaderIQ alerts for a few of these books, and then I noticed it advertised on a few of my author event groups.  You can find the list of individual books here.  But there are some box sets on sale too (99 cents multiplied by the number of books in the set), so you can also just go to this list of books on Amazon with Swerve as the publisher, ordered by price.  Sale ends on the 25th.
    • One True Pairing (Fandom Hearts #2) by Cathy Yardley — I read a NetGalley ARC and loved it (see my review here), so wanted the final copy.
    • Elliott Redeemed (Preload #2) by Scarlett Cole — I got a NetGalley ARC of this one, but haven’t gotten to it yet.  But since I loved the first book in this series (see my review for Jordan Reclaimed), I took a wild stab that I will love this one too.
    • Shacking Up by Helena Hunting — Curly Carla loved this one too (see her review here), and she made it sound like something I would love too.  This author is also attending all the author events I’m attending over the next year, so if I love it, I’ll have plenty of opportunities to get a signed copy.
    • Second Circle Tattoos, The Complete Series (Second Circle Tattoos #1-4) by Scarlett Cole — I’ve read the first and the last book of this series through NetGalley (see my review for The Strongest Steel and The Darkest Link) and really enjoyed them, and I’m a series completer.  I also love collecting box sets and clearing up clutter on my Kindle.
    • All the Ways You Saved Me (Love Unplugged #1) and The Feeling of Forever (Love Unplugged #2) by Jamie Howard — Both of these books have been recommended by fellow bloggers I follow, and the second one at least has some diversity, so always a good thing to add to my TBR!
    • Off Beat: Body Rocks, Steady Stroke, Hot Licks (Off Beat #1-3) by A.M. Arthur — I’ve read the last two books in this series through NetGalley (see my review for Steady Stroke and Hot Licks) and really enjoyed them, so yet again: yay for box sets and series completions!

  • Secondborn (Secondborn #1) by Amy A. Bartol from 47North — released August 1st, 2017.
  • Rebel (The Renegades #3) by Rebecca Yarros from Entangled: Embrace (Entangled Publishing LLC) — released August 28th, 2017.  This could have gone under the preorders that went live section too, since I preordered it.  I signed up for a blog tour on this one as well, and so look for my review on Tuesday (hopefully)!  And read my review for book one, Wilder, here.  This author will also be attending Apollycon 2018 in Washington, D.C. next March that I’m going to.
  • Totally His (Opposites Attract #3) by Erin Nicholas from Forever (Grand Central Publishing) — releases October 31st, 2017.  I’ve read the first two books in this series and loved them (read the reviews for Completely Yours and Forever Mine), so I needed to read Sophie’s story.
  • Elliott Redeemed (Preload #2) by Scarlett Cole from Swerve (St. Martin’s Press) — released August 29th, 2017.  I read the first book in this series and loved it (see my review for Jordan Reclaimed), so I needed to read Elliott’s story.
  • Unspeakable (Beyond Human #2) by Nina Croft from Select Otherworld (Entangled Publishing LLC) — releases September 25th, 2017.  I read the first book in this series and enjoyed it (see my review for Unthinkable), so I needed to know what happened next.

  • If Ever by Angie Stanton from Give Me Books — released August 21st, 2017.  This one also could have gone under Preorders That Went Live, b/c I can never resist a release day/preorder sale!  This book was AMAZEBALLS.  I finished later than I’d wanted, but you can read my review here.
  • Temporary by Sarina Bowen and Sarah Mayberry — releases September 12th, 2017.  This one I actually won from the Ms. Bowen, b/c in a weird twist of fate I was able to guess who her mystery co-author was going to be before it was announced.  It was honestly a fluke, I just remember being excited when I found out she was also a fan of Ms. Mayberry and knew her, so I threw it out there.  So yay, ARC for Lenore!!  I’m hoping to get a partially signed paperback copy in October at the Big Apple Author Event, where Ms. Bowen will be signing.

Preorders That Went Live:

35631666

  • Royally Mine: 22 All-New Bad Boy Romance Novellas by Various Authors — released August 22nd, 2017.  I bought this one pretty much exclusively for Katy Regnery’s new short story Shear Heaven, part of her Modern Fairytale series.  This one was on a pre-order sale for 99 cents, but it’s now $6.99.

New Releases:

3588773736064864

  • Catching Cooper (Red Maple Falls #4) by Theresa Paolo — released July 29th, 2017.  This one was on a pre-order/release day sale of 99 cents, but is now back at its regular price of $3.99.  I’m still collecting this series.  Someday.
  • Perfume Therapy by Kirsty McManus — released August 8th, 2017.  A long time ago in a galaxy far far away I read another book by this author (Zen Queen), and really enjoyed it.  The author contacted me to let me know about this book coming out and offered me an ARC, but I was just too swamped.  BUT it was on a release day sale for 99 cents, so I snatched it up!  It’s back to regular price at $2.99.

Had To Get The Next In The Series:

34384215

  • #FinishLine (GearShark #5) by Cambria Hebert — So Ms. Hebert is going to be attending the Big Apple Author Event in October, and I’ve desperately been trying to read towards it (and failing).  So I recently decided I needed to finish this series, so had to get this final book.  While I didn’t enjoy it as much as the rest of the series, it was still great (see my review here).

Got It On Sale:

  • 180 Seconds by Jessica Park — I read a NetGalley ARC of this book and loved it (see my review here), so I immediately put it on my wishlist.  I’m also hoping to procure a signed paperback copy since this author will be attending Book Bonanza next July (which I managed to score tickets to).  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $4.99, I one-clicked!  No longer on sale.
  • Roman (Cold Fury Hockey #7) by Sawyer Bennett — This is another author who will be attending Book Bonanza next July, and I’ve read one other book in this series and enjoyed it, so I’ve been collecting them (see my review of Max).  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $1.99 cents from its usual $5.99, I one-clicked!  No longer on sale.
  • Lights, Cowboy, Action by Cindi Madsen — I really love this author, and am looking forward to seeing her again at Apollycon 2018 in Washington, D.C. next March.  I actually already own this novella in an anthology, but when eReaderIQ told me it was on for free from its usual 99 cents, I figured why not?!  No longer on sale.
  • One Good Reason (Adamson Brothers #2) by Sarah Mayberry — I actually have the paperback copy of this book, but since I read almost exclusively on Kindle nowadays, and I haven’t read this one yet, when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $4.99, I one-clicked!  No longer on sale.
  • The Problem With Forever by Jennifer L. Armentrout — This author is the mastermind behind Apollycon, and will also be attending Book Bonanza next July. So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for $1.99 from its usual much higher price (it’s currently at $7.74, but it seems to vary), I one-clicked!  No longer on sale.
  • The Ghosts of You and Me by Kelly Oram — One of my favourite authors and this is her latest release that I hadn’t managed to purchase right away.  It worked in my favour since I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $4.99!  It’s now at $2.99, so still a good deal.
  • The Hearts Series (Hearts #1-4, 5.75) by L.H. Cosway — This author is attending the Big Apple Author Event in October, and I’ve yet to read any of her standalones.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this bundle was on sale for $1.99 from its usual $5.99, I said SCORE!!  No longer on sale.
  • Tanner (American Extreme Bull Riders Tour #1) by Sarah Mayberry — I read a NetGalley ARC of this book and enjoyed it (see my review here), so when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was free from its usual $3.99, I one-clicked!  No longer on sale.
  • Hothouse Flower (Calloway Sisters #2, Addicted #2.2) by Krista & Becca Ritchie — I actually have a signed paperback copy of this book from when I met the twins at the Emerald City Author Event in 2016, but I hadn’t read it yet…since, again, I prefer reading on my Kindle.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $4.99, I one-clicked!  No longer on sale.
  • With a Twist (Bad Habits #1) by Staci Hart — Another author attending the Big Apple Author Event in October that I’ve yet to read, but I believe this book has been recommended to me.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was free from its usual $3.99, I one-clicked!  Still free!!
  • Celebrity Superhero: A Kpop Romance by Jennie Bennett — I’ve been really enjoying these Kpop romances, even though I have no interest in Kpop (see my reviews for Kidnapped Idol and Undercover Fan), so when I saw this book was on for free from its usual $2.99 in My Book Cave email, I jumped on it!  No longer on sale.
  • Dr. OB (St. Luke’s Docuseries #1) by Max Monroe — This is an author I haven’t read but has been recommended to me, and I recently saw that they will be attending Book Bonanza as well, so when I saw this book in my BookBub email on sale for 99 cents from its usual $4.99, I one-clicked!  No longer on sale.
  • January Girl (Wilder Irish #1) by Mari Carr — I read and loved the original Wild Irish series, and this is the spin off series about the children of those couples.  I wishlisted them, and when I got an eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99, I one-clicked!  Still on sale!

  • Win (The Atlantis Grail #3) by Vera Nazarian. Sooooo, I’m doing a buddy read with some of my friends and I had mentioned that I needed to wait till I got paid to get the third book. Well, Theresa didn’t want me to wait that long. So she bought me the book. I was actually quite surprised because when she asked for my email address I thought she was gonna loan me the book. But no! So thanks Theresa for gifting me a book in a series that I have come to really enjoy. It has its ups and downs but overall, I’m glad you guys turned me on to this series. Now we just have to bugger Lenore to read it!

  • Random Acts of Trust (Random #2) by Julia Kent — Late 2016, or early 2017 I snagged the first book in this series for free.  I haven’t read it yet, so I still don’t know if Ms. Kent is my kind of author, but I saw this second book in the series on BookBub for free from its previous price of 99 cents, and I figured on the off chance it’s my kind of thing, why pass up on the deal.  Still free.
  • The Fear of Letting Go (Fairhope #3) by Sarra Cannon — I read the first two books in this series quite awhile ago, but was very interested in book 3 (though it wasn’t out at the time).  So it went on the wishlist, and apparently I forgot about it.  So when I got eReaderIQ alert that this book was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $2.99, I one-clicked!  Still on sale!
  • The Sexy One (One Love #1) by Lauren Blakely — I still haven’t read a Lauren Blakely book, but I’ve been convinced to give them a try from reading reviews of bloggers I follow.  So I put a few on my wishlist.  And this week I got eReaderIQ alert that this one went on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99, so I one-clicked!  Still on sale!
  • Dazzled by Jane Harvey-Berrick — This author will be attending the Big Apple Author Event in October, and she mentioned this sale in the BBAE Facebook group. And since I love a good celebrity romance, and a friends to lovers, I nabbed it.  Still on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99.
  • Get It (Enemies to Lovers #2.5) by Anyta Sunday — Curly Carla shared this sale on our page, and since it’s a prequel to William (book 3) which I read a LONG time ago, I definitely want to see what it’s all about.  On sale for free from its usual 99 cents.

Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

  • You’re Bacon Me Crazy (Wish #4) by Suzanne Nelson. When you see a book with bacon on the cover, you buy it immediately! 🙂 This is a middle grade book and it sounds super cute. Also, my kid is almost old enough to start reading these with me so I figured I’d help her get a head start on her book hoarding. Cause I’m considerate like that. 😉
  • Body Heat (Dept 6 Hired Guns #2) by Brenda Novak.  I’m a fan and it was $.25, like I’m gonna pass that up! LOL

  • Compete (The Atlantis Grail #2) by Vera Nazarian. So my tribe recommended the first book, Qualify, to me. And I was hooked. I can’t wait to start this one.

  • Breakaway (Corrigan Falls Raiders #4) by Cate Cameron from Entangled: Crush (Entangled Publishing LLC)  — releases August 14th, 2017.  I’ve read all 3 books in this series so far and really enjoyed them (reviews of Center Ice, Playing Defense, and Winging It), and am so excited to read Dawn’s book!!
  • Love in the Friend Zone by Molly E. Lee from Entangled: Crush (Entangled Publishing LLC)  — releases August 14th, 2017.
  • Taming the Rebel (Endless Summer #3) by Dawn Klehr from Entangled: Crush (Entangled Publishing LLC)  — releases August 14th, 2017.
  • Arm Candy (Real Love #2) by Jessica Lemmon from Loveswept (Random House Publishing Group – Loveswept) — releases September 5th, 2017.  I *just* finished reading book one of this series (my review of Eye Candy) and really enjoyed Ms. Lemmon’s voice.  I’m definitely intrigued by Davis’s story!

  • Hooked by Brenda Rothert — Back in December I read an ARC of this book from NetGalley and absolutely LOVED it (see my review here).  So when I saw it on BookBub for 99 cents from its regular $3.99, I pounced on it.  Still on sale!!
